Site Support Staff Part- time year around, Part-time Seasonal, Full-time Seasonal Pay Range (DOE): $16.50- $18.15
Camp Cedar Glen is seeking a dedicated Site Support Staff member to join our team in maintaining the beauty and functionality of our camp. This hands-on role is crucial for providing a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all our guests and staff. Whether it's preparing meals, ensuring the cleanliness of our facilities, helping lead a program, or conducting minor repairs, your contribution will enhance the camp experience for everyone who steps foot on our grounds.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain the camp's buildings and grounds to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

Assist in food service tasks including dishwashing, meal prep, and kitchen clean-up.

Conduct minor repair work and routine maintenance to keep facilities in top condition.

Support the camp's commitment to sustainability through waste reduction, recycling, and efficient resource use.

Work closely with the camp director and operations manager to support guest group programs and ensure an exceptional stay for all visitors.

In this dynamic position, you'll craft exceptional Christian hospitality experiences, oversee summer camp programming, and spearhead initiatives that align with our mission to inspire and transform lives through God’s love. This role offers the unique opportunity to blend program development, staff leadership, and guest engagement in a setting that values deep encounters with God, leadership development, and FUN!
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with camp directors to design and implement impactful camp and retreat programs that are Christ-centered, culturally relevant, and relationship-based.

Lead the charge in program innovation, from summer camps to retreat offerings, ensuring a diverse and engaging lineup of activities for all ages.

Recruit, train, and mentor program staff and volunteers, fostering a team environment that emphasizes quality, hospitality, and safety.

Engage directly with guests to provide a welcoming, supportive atmosphere, enhancing their overall camp experience.

Drive marketing strategies to promote camp programs, increase participation, and support the mission of the United Methodist Church and the Cal-Pac Conference.

Craft and refine summer camp and community day camp programming, ensuring a deeply impactful, fun, and faith-filled experience for all participants.

Spearhead the development of new retreat initiatives, aimed at fostering growth and spiritual enrichment for children, youth, young adults, adults, and families.

Drive marketing efforts to broaden participation and engagement, utilizing both digital and traditional platforms to communicate the unique value of our camp experiences.

Maintain and enhance the camp's online presence, ensuring our website and social media channels effectively showcase our programs and mission.
